the Clog before the Slog - waiting for "naan kadavul"

I know. Its been a rough three weeks for the readers of ishallreview. The hits suggest that you linked it once in every 4 hours only to be disappointed at the absence of any new post. Here it is. A pre - review warm up post ( For the first time in the history of ishallreview )

Naan kadavul is just 2 days away from release and expectations can't be higher. The movie is bound to be the soul saviour of tamil cinema at the start of what has been an absolute disastrous beginning to two thousand and nine A.D.

I watched villu in half an hour on the comp and walked out 10 minutes into the second half from the theatre which screened padikadhavan. I found Silambattam "amusing" and 'Luck by Chance' cliched. I think slumdog millionaire is an "over-awarded" film. I loved Milk and Wrestler and managed to sit through Benjamin Button. Meanwhile I watched Vaastav again - I bought the DVD in Goa - I had been there on a week long super trip....
